Holmes Media was born in 2003 and has been helping home and business owners ever since.

Our flagship website Boiler Guide was launched in 2006 to put homeowners in touch with Gas Safe Registered heating engineers. Today the website is seen as the leading online resource of boiler and central heating installers and the go to place for consumers looking for free no obligation quotes to install a new boiler.
From small seeds big things grow and today Holmes Media owns and operates a diverse portfolio of niche B2B, home improvement and renewable energy websites including WhatCost, Solar Guide, Renewables Guide and Builder Guide.

They say the best things come in small packages and we like to think that’s true. Holmes Media is home (pardon the pun!) to a talented bunch of people, ranging from our telesales team to marketing bods and web developers. Yes, helping consumers improve rather than move is what we do, and with a database of more than 4,900 installers we’re well equipped to put customers in touch with accredited, reputable and trustworthy tradespeople.
