The town is well serviced with direct train lines to London (just under an hour away!), Leicester, Nottingham and Derby. It’s the perfect place if you want the best of both words; the tranquillity and charm of a market town on your doorstep, but fast-paced city living just a train ride away. Incidentally Market Harborough is the birth place of actor Jeremy Bullock. He’s the guy who played Boba Fett in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.
Holmes Media is based in Market Harborough, a picturesque market town on the Northamptonshire-Leicestershire border, much loved for its mix of unspoiled Georgian buildings, boutique shops, cafes and restaurants. The Old Grammar School in the town centre, a 17th century timber framed building built on stilts, is probably Market Harborough’s most famous landmark. Favoured for its attractive rural location, the pretty market town is surrounded by rolling countryside and yet the hustle and bustle of city life is never far away.
